Benefits if copper conductor exchange to Aluminum conductor
1. The thermal temperature of Aluminum insulator 20 °Chigher than copper
thermal
temperature because of Aluminum oxide film effects a good insulator
in the
insulation system. ( reference to UL and Arrhenius Curve )
2. Aluminum coils can be expected longer than the average insulation
life of copper
coil bacause of the alunimun quickly forms a very tight oxide skin
that is also
insulator.
3. One of the big advantage of Aluminum is reducing non-ferrous
material cost, less shipping damage of it's products and easier
to mount in the fixture because of Aluminum lighter than 1/3 the
weight copper.
